The Opportunity
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our team who will be responsible for maintaining and driving the online digital presence of the business. They will work closely with the wider commercial teams in both the High Wycombe and Abingdon sites to support in delivering campaigns to end-user customers through multiple channels, including the public websites, email marketing and social media. The Digital Marketing Executive will be a primary super-user and point of contact for the marketing automation platform with a key role in ensuring development and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns, monitoring of performance, and reporting and improving results.
Location and Working Hours
Based at our High Wycombe site. Typical working hours are 37 hours per week, with a lunchtime finish every Friday.
About You
The Digital Marketing Executive will ideally have the following skills and attributes: Educated to Degree level or equivalent Relevant digital marketing experience An in-depth knowledge, passion and enthusiasm for electron microscopy and microanalysis. Highly desirable: previous experience of marketing automation & email workflows Previous experience with search engine marketing, social media marketing, lead generation and nurturing and web analytics also beneficial Good all-round digital marketing mix and understanding: lead generation, pipeline metrics, analytics, etc. Strong communication skills with an excellent understanding of how to communicate with different audiences Scientific background or knowledge of the scientific market (advantageous)
Key Responsibilities of the Role Manage and maintain the customer-facing website and optimise to increase site visitors and maximise lead generation & conversion. Optimise our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email and workflows. Update existing and create new web pages to host new content and support marketing campaigns. Work alongside other marketers and content producers to help launch products or distribute content that educates and entertains our audience. Initiate website SEO and other performance improvements, including through use of tools such as SEMRush. Build and maintain the company’s social media profiles and presences . , whilst maintaining daily posts. Listen and engage in relevant social discussion about our company, competitors etc. Drive social media engagement and brand awareness campaigns. Build and manage various email lists from 3rd party sources, leads and opt-ins. Create and monitor market-focused email campaigns in support of lead generation. Monitor data trends and patterns across various data sources, produce reports and maintain dashboards. Provide actionable interpretation of results and recommend next steps. Measure results and optimise lead nurturing to encourage leads along the sales funnel.
