In our mission to stop men dying too young, we’re seeking an enthusiastic marketeer to join the UK & EU Marketing Team in London for 6 months as a Digital Marketing Executive. About the role
The Digital Marketing Executive for Europe will sit in the UK & EU Campaigns Team within the wider global Movember Experience Team. They will report to the Senior Marketing Campaigns Manager, UK & EU and will play a key role in the successful development, implementation, and execution of marketing campaigns, including the flagship Movember Fundraising Campaign. They will also have oversight of several Movember EU social media accounts, under the supervision of the Social Media Manager, UK & EU.
With a keen interest in digital and social marketing, and an eye for detail, the successful candidate will be ready to hit the ground running and support the team to deliver the biggest and hairiest Movember to date.
You will have the opportunity to work flexibly, blending your work between home and our Clerkenwell office.
You’ll have the opportunity to
- Plan, execute, and optimise the Movember digital marketing campaign for our major EU markets under the guidance of the Senior Marketing Campaigns Manager. Markets included in the scope of this role are DACH region, France, & Netherlands, plus some responsibilities across UK & Ireland.
- Manage Movember’s presence on selected social media platforms for our major EU markets, by working with EU PR agencies & internal Movember Creative Studio to post organic content to motivate audiences to sign up and raise funds for Movember, under the supervision of the Social Media Manager.
- Ensure there is a good mixture of pre-planned content on selected social media platforms for our major EU markets as well as maximising opportunities to support PR moments and real stories in market working closely with the EU fundraising team.
- Assist the Senior Marketing Campaigns Manager with oversight of all digital campaign asset delivery across UK/EU markets, including planned paid and donated opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with Movember’s Performance Marketing Team (based in Australia) across the full campaign lifecycle to constantly manage, review, and optimise digital campaign performance across UK/EU markets.
- Ensure UK/EU digital campaign is tagged and tracked properly, liaising with Movember Insights team (based in Australia) as required.
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with Movember Creative Studio (based in Australia) to ensure smooth asset production, translation, and delivery as required.
- Assist the Senior Marketing Campaigns Manager with oversight of email planning, content creation, translation, proofing, and delivery across UK/EU markets.
- Provide day-to-day support in executing the UK, IRL, & EU Movember media plans, including asset matrix management and coordination between Movember and our paid media agencies.
- Provide general marketing support for Senior Marketing Campaigns Manager, Social Media Manager, and Marketing Campaigns Director as required in the build up to and across the campaign.
For this role, you’ll need
- A good understanding of digital/social/performance marketing and how to plan, execute and optimise a multi-channel campaign.
- A good understanding of organic social media content & community management in a marketing context.
- A good understanding of general campaign & asset management across the full lifecycle of a marketing campaign.
- Experience working with media & creative agencies, and/or running marketing campaigns in-house at a relevant company or organisation.
- And organised, autonomous, and flexible approach to a busy workload, including the availability to work some evenings and weekends where required.
- Enthusiasm for driving real change among a passionate supporter base and a desire to grow that base to reach, and create further change, for even more people.
Bonus points for
- 1-2yrs in a campaign focused role, either in-house at a relevant company/organisation, or agency side.
- Experience working in/with, or a passion to move into, the third or public sector.
