Overview:
You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience as you complete a BA (Hons) Digital Marketing Degree Apprenticeship.
The E-Comm Marketing Apprentice will support the Marketing Manager in the day-to-day management of all E-comm sites that our brands trade on, with particular emphasis on Amazon.
This is an exciting opportunity on a high-profile business.
Responsibilities:
Business Analysis:
- Under direction of the Marketing Manager, lead performance analysis on Amazon, including consumer sales trends and advertising uplifts.
- Help to make recommendations on next steps, e.g. increase advertising on a certain ASIN, stop doing something if not working, and/or recommending something new.
- Share learning with retail Account Managers / Category Manager and assist in implementing improvements on brick & click retail sites.
- Prepare monthly E-comm report for Marketing Manager as part of Regional Monthly Report.
Support tracking and management of Amazon Media budgets.
NPD, Packaging, and Content Optimisation:
- Assist in the development of packaging / artwork for E-Comm specific projects.
- Complete new line forms for Amazon specific launches and assist Marketing Manager/Flywheel in uploading to Amazon.
- Support supply chain team where necessary to ensure product in stock on time.
- Work with Brand Assistant and International Marketing to ensure best available content on all product pages.
BTL planning and execution:
- Support Category Manager with all online/digital POS material across e-tailers.
- Assist as marketing liaison between Combe and the Amazon agency.
- Daily inspection across all Amazon / Ecomm pages to ensure product optimisation – i.e. no ‘Lost Buy Box’ on any Combe products, correct pricing, imagery/content etc.

Entry Requirements:
Standard Entry:
- To be eligible to study for a degree, typically candidates will have achieved grade C or above in at least five GCSE's, and at least two A-levels passes or any equivalent Level 3 qualifications.
- Any Level 3 Apprenticeship
- Non-standard entry with work experience
Equivalent work experience (typically 2 years relevant experience at an appropriate level) – candidates may have previously been in a digital marketer role or be able to demonstrate a real passion and personal experience in digital marketing.
Relevant professional qualifications and/or work experience will be taken into consideration where the applicant has the judged potential to benefit from the programme, allowing for contextualized applications.
The nature of an applicant’s work experience is as important if not more so than the duration of that experience. The experience could include Digital and Marketing Analysts, Digital Marketing Executives, Digital Marketing Campaign Managers, Social Media Specialists, Content Marketing Executives, Digital Producers and Pay Per Click Analysts.
Informal Interviews:
Informal interviews may be held by academic/ admissions staff where:
- The suitability of a candidate is in doubt and further evidence is sought.
- The candidate presents an unusual set of qualifications taken or pending, and an appropriate conditional offer needs to be determined.
- Candidates may need advice on the appropriateness of the programme.
- Applicants invited for an informal interview will always be informed of its purpose.
Salary:
£20,000 per annum.
Working week:
8.30pm - 5pm,
Monday - Friday,
37.5 hours a week.
Future prospects:
92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.
