Sixothree Marketing provides marketing support to small and medium-sized businesses that don’t have an internal marketing team.

The company is in a period of growth and looking to introduce a Digital Marketing Apprentice who can work closely with the team under their expert guidance.

This role would be ideal for someone with a passion for marketing, looking to develop their skills and knowledge by working with a wide variety of brands with varying target audiences.

Location: MediaCityUK, Salford. This is a hybrid role, allowing you to split your time between working in the office and working from home. There will be a minimum of 3 days in the office.

Job Description:
As a Digital Marketing Apprentice, you will be working across a range of clients alongside the Marketing and Social Media Coordinator with support from the Marketing Director. Your responsibilities would include:

  • Create and upload engaging social media content, including graphics and videos.
  • Identify opportunities for social media engagement through the monitoring of relevant hashtags and trends.
  • Create content and edit templates for email campaigns and newsletters.
  • Update client websites, ensuring the content is kept-up-to-date and relevant.
  • Measure performance of all digital marketing activity such as social media and email marketing, using insights from social media and Google Analytics.
  • Research to support the team with marketing strategies, competitor research, and proposals.
You will also have the opportunity to get involved in:
  • Website design and development
  • Paid online advertising, including Google PPC and social media ads
  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
  • Blog writing

Skills Required

We’re looking for someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn. We’d expect to see some examples of the following:
  • A high attention to detail and pride in your work, especially with grammar and punctuation.
  • An understanding of marketing, particularly social media.
  • Good strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • An attitude that shows a genuine interest and passion for marketing.
  • Must be competent in Microsoft Office including, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Must be very organised with the ability to multi-task.

Entry requirements

A-C (4-9) English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent

Training to be provided

The Juice Academy is a digital marketing Academy based in Castlefield, Manchester. They train up to 80 apprentices a year, whilst the apprentices work with businesses around the North West (and sometimes further afield!). The training is delivered by industry professionals from their sister company, Tangerine Communications. The Juice Academy training sessions are a hybrid of face-to-face learning within the academy in Castlefield, and online delivery via Zoom. Apprentices will also receive the on the job training in the workplace. The final three months of the course will be the ‘assessment period’ during which apprentices are expected to produce a portfolio of work and complete a series of assessments. Full digital marketing training to be provided on-the-job and off-the-job. The Juice Academy partner with Apprentify, who support apprentices in the workplace through development coaching.

  • Level 3 Content Creator
The final three months of the course will be the ‘assessment period’ during which apprentices are expected to produce a portfolio of work and complete a series of assessments. Full digital marketing training to be provided on-the-job and off-the-job. The Juice Academy partner with Apprentify, who support apprentices in the workplace through development coaching.

The qualification will include:
  • Level 3 Content Creator

  • Please note: For the first year, you will be paid a minimum salary of £13,000. Thereafter, your pay will be increased to the National Minimum Wage for age. All salaries are set at the employers’ discretion; however, this will be the minimum you will receive.
