We are delighted to be supporting our client in their recruitment of a Sales and Marketing Executive, to join their growing business based in Darlington.
The Sales & Marketing Assistant will work closely with the commercial team on a daily basis to support new business development but also growth from existing customers. The role will identify and qualify new leads at the front end of the companies sales funnel and support the sales team converting them. The role will involve actively managing the company CRM including data entry and pipeline health. A sound understanding of sales process, service offering and an appreciation of customer needs will enable the SME to maximise commercial opportunities directly and through the team. The role will help promote and raise the companies profile by creating and coordinating the companies marketing material. The SME will work with the Head of Sales to help identify marketing strategies and will take a lead on digital media.
Areas of Responsibilities:
Daily, interaction with members of the sales, projects and management teams.
Daily management of the sales funnel program in the company’s CRM system.
In depth research and customer needs analysis.
Maintaining an accurate and detailed customer database.
Work with the Business Development team to initiate contact and identify strategic contacts.
Promote customer service at any point of external contact.
Create and post social media content.
Create and promote company presentations.
Monitor and coordinate incoming customer contact to sales e-mail accounts and support e-mail monitoring for team absences.
Lead generation, Identifying and profiling of customer prospects.

Experience of CRM systems.
Enjoys working closely with other members of the team.
Positive attitude and a willingness to continuously improve.
Strong IT skills, including power point and excel.

Thrives when working in a high pace and often stressful environment where demands are high.
Working hours 8am - 4.30pm with a 3.30pm finish on Fridays.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
