We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our innovative and fast paced business. You will have a 'can do' attitude who can hit the ground running and be a successful contributor to a rapidly growing company.
Job Summary:
As a Digital Marketing Executive, you will be part of our dynamic Marketing team, reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager and working closely with the wider marketing team to develop and implement our digital marketing strategies, managing online advertising campaigns, conducting market research and competitor analysis, managing social media presence, content creation and management, website management and optimisation and email marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining customer relationship management (CRM) data, including the creation of mailing lists and processing new website registrations.
- Acting as the main point of contact within the Marketing team for any CRM queries and CRM reports.
- Generating Google Analytics reports, and providing insights and recommendations based on the data.
- Updating email signatures for all staff emails.
- Updating the web content management system (CMS) to include banners, featured products, promotions, literature, news articles, and any other required content.
- Regularly updating social media, our websites, Google Posts and other external websites as and when required
- Generating ideas for and managing social media competitions.
- Creating email marketing campaigns, including reporting and analysis.
- Promoting content through our digital platforms.
- Researching content ideas for social media and email marketing.
- Conducting competitor research, providing analysis and insights.
- Utilising market research and analysis to provide advice on marketing strategy.
- Supporting marketing plans for digital channels.
- Assisting in the creative development of digital promotional materials, catalogues, website content, advertisements, and other marketing-related projects, and then promoting these
- Assisting the Digital Marketing Manager with keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO to improve our rankings for our most important keywords.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, colleagues, and customers.
- Conducting copywriting and proofreading for digital marketing materials, including press releases, content, social media posts, and case studies.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Degree level education
- Knowledge of marketing promotion methods, practices, and techniques, with the ability to leverage a mix of marketing activities to generate demand and increase revenue.
- Ability to create marketing collateral and communicate product value to meet customer needs.
- Demonstrable evidence of delivering marketing activities that generate new leads and build relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver tasks in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to overcome challenges and obstacles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of scientific communications is desirable to understand customer needs and competitor activities.
- Knowledge and experience in Google AdWords, Mailchimp and SEO
- Knowledge and experience of social media marketing.
