Key Duties & Responsibilities
Social Media Management:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients’ social media.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their communication needs, goals, and target audience.
- Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation for our clients.
- Manage and oversee the social media accounts of our clients.
- Work in conjunction (where applicable) with the relevant PR Account Manager to amplify any PR campaign through social media.
- Monitor social media trends, industry news, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for our clients.
- Provide regular updates and reports on social media performance and engagement to clients.
Saltwater Stone Communication & Social Media Strategy:
- Contribute to the development of marketing plans and strategies with a digital focus.
- Develop engaging and informative content to highlight our agency’s services across various communication channels.
- Manage the agency’s social media calendar and digital content, including creating engaging content for e-newsletters, blogs, success stories, and website.
- Collaborate with PR team to gather information and ensure accurate and timely delivery of communication & social media content.
- Understanding of analytics software and a good knowledge of SEO
- Ensure consistency of messaging and brand tone across all communication materials.
- Contribute to generic marketing activities.
Requirements
Required:
- Degree or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, journalism or related field.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Proven experience in developing and managing social media strategies, including scheduling and analytics tools.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging content for a range of products and services for various audiences.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, using strong prioritisation skills, to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Customer service focussed.
Desirable:
- Proven record of generation and delivery of digital content in a B2B environment
- Experience or keen interest in the marine industry.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or equivalent design and video editing software
- Understanding of analytics software and a good knowledge of SEO
- Working knowledge of WordPress
