Junior Events & Marketing Executive
Candidate must:
- Have 4 years marketing experience, either agency-side or in-house
- Have proven experience in events management.
- Background of working with B2B brands/associations and able to promote through all marketing platforms
- Have excellent communication skills and are creative with the ability to create great original content (written and visual)
- Have experience executing and coordinating digital and social media campaigns in particular
- The ability to forge new stakeholder relationships, such as sponsors, media partners and nurture existing ones
- Be an excellent timekeeper
Job description
This is a hybrid role - predominantly working from home, but occasionally our offices in Holborn and some time at industry events.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Managing Director in delivering agreed activities for Rise
- Events organisation and management
- Create and execute on digital marketing campaigns
- Production of monthly newsletter
- Update and maintain website
- Bring fresh ideas to Rise to deliver effective marketing campaigns
- Create media partnerships with global industry press/publishers
- Work closely with Rise’s creative agency, where needed, to to design marketing materials such as brochures and adverts
- Write and proofread marketing copy
- Produce creative content, including videos and blog posts
- Run social media channels independently (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube) and report plans and results to clients
- Create social media templates (on Canva or Viddyoze)
- Promote the Rise Awards and all of it’s other programmes
- Organise and attend events virtually and physically for Rise such as webinars, exhibitions and trade shows
- Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials
- Help track marketing performance and return on investment
- Help create monthly reports
- Carry out basic keyword research

Recruitment process
Once a CV has been accepted the candidate will go through the following process
Stage 1 – Video interview with Managing Director Please allow 30 minutes for this interview
Stage 2 – Writing and marketing brief challenge. Please allow 1 hour for the presentation.
Stage 3 – Final round video or face-to-face interview with the Managing Director. Please allow 1 hour.

Salary: £35,000.00 per year
