Overview
Nomad Digital have an opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join the Global Marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will ensure the efficient and effective delivery of day-to-day marketing activities. They will need to be highly organised, pro-active, and self-motivated, as they will be supporting multiple projects with tight deadlines across diverse teams and departments.
We are looking for an exceptional communicator and copywriter with a keen eye for design and creativity. With experience in developing content across all types of marketing campaigns: from publications to email marketing, from digital advertising to creative content and from event planning to collateral creation.
This role will contribute directly to the business goals and offer the right person the chance to develop their marketing skills, working in a small team - with a big impact.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing Operations:
In consultation with the Marketing Manager, support the Nomad Digital Marketing Strategy including the 5 key pillars of:
- Strategy - Work with the business and support the Marketing Manager to deliver content in line with Nomad’s Marketing Strategy.
- Product Marketing - Working with the business to ensure timetable of Product content is delivered.
- Communications - Responsible for scheduling, writing and developing external & internal communications.
- Brand - Adherence to, promotion of and development ongoing.
- Events – Delivering internally and externally as per Global Events Calendar and appropriate to the business.
Product Marketing:
Support the Product Marketing Strategy, working with Product Managers Globally.
Work with the business, specifically the Product Team, to create appropriate, user-friendly collateral and keep this updated and accessible.
Work with Product Managers to ensure internal Product Toolkits are up to date - presentations, solutions sheets etc.
Communications:
- Responsible for developing external communications, that complement the content and product marketing initiatives including:
Ø Blogs/Articles.
Ø Press Releases.
Ø Web pages/Newsletters.
Ø Video/Podcasts - write scripts, prepare, and record content for publication.
Ø Customer and Partner Presentations.
Ø Social Media - Schedule and post approved content on social media channels, ensuring communication to the correct target audiences – taking ownership of channels.
- Work with key external Media Partners to maintain consistent communication across their external platforms.
- Create and drive regular internal marketing and communication initiatives to support employee engagement, including;
Ø Staff Newsletter - compile content for, and distribute bi-monthly
Ø Internal presentation planning with key stakeholders
Ø Yammer internal communications channel
Ø Internal Email Marketing campaigns
- Collaborative working with Alstom Marketing and Communications team to ensure communication channels are open at all times.
Brand
- ‘Brand Ambassador’ for the business ensuring correct buy-in is maintained from all relevant areas of the business.
- Ensuring our Brand has relevance and is committed to innovation and expertise to match our market competitive nature.
- Support all employer brand and culture activities – ensuring full company involvement, working specifically with the Exco, QHSE & HR team, focusing on values, engagement & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
- Procure and create images/graphics/adverts to support marketing materials and campaigns, both directly from in-house resources (software solutions/graphic design tools) and external content agencies.
- Create external and internal marketing collateral, flyers, brochures, banners etc. using in-house software - as well as adapting to working with agencies when required.
- Responsible for the branding of company presentations, policies, documents etc. Working with key stakeholders in the business such as HR, QHSE, Bid Management, Product and Sales.
- Monitor the content, and the look and the feel of the Nomad Digital website, refreshing on a regular basis.
Events
- Organise and deliver key events including travel and accommodation, collateral, exhibition stands etc as per Global Events Calendar.
- Attend some events to assist with stand set-up, marketing presence and messaging.
- Support the Sales team in collecting and collating contacts and potential opportunities from events, ensuring Nomad processes (E&C/GDPR compliant).
- Support the planning and promotion of internal events.
General
- Work collaboratively across the business to enhance Marketing activities and reach.
- Work with relevant colleagues to ensure that the department’s work meets all organisational and legal frameworks; including but not exhaustively health and safety, safeguarding policies, GDPR, licensing and equality, diversity and inclusion and the Nomad Values.
- Write reports and compile metrics on activity as required to measure activity performance and inform future Marketing activity planning.
- Carry out any other duties as may be reasonably required.
Qualification & Experience Requirements
- A Degree level qualification in a Marketing or a Communications-related subject.
- A Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualification or similar (desirable).
Experience Requirements
- Experience in a comparable Marketing role.
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills, including grammar and spelling.
- Experience in using Email Marketing tools to deliver internal and external communications.
- Experience maintaining websites through a CMS.
- Excellent knowledge of LinkedIn, Twitter, and the latest social media best practices including metrics.
- Excellent design experience - using the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products, Canva and video editing software, such as Camtasia.
- Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Dynamics, Publisher, Sway and Outlook.
- Good understanding of Google Analytics, Ad Words and online SEO tools.
- B2B marketing experience.
