About the role
As Performance Marketing Executive you will assist in planning, executing, and optimising key areas of PPC activity and achieving agreed KPI targets. This will cover the Buyagift and Red Letter Days brands.
Responsibilities:
- Detail-oriented with hands-on management of PPC campaigns and budgets (search and shopping) across multiple search engines.
- Supporting the Performance Marketing Manager on the day-to-day execution of the paid search & shopping strategy across our brands.
- Executing optimisation tactics on a weekly basis to improve campaign performance.
- Responsible for analysing and reporting on campaign and channel performance against KPIs.
- Implementing ad copy and landing page A/B tests on a regular basis to drive higher efficiency.
- Keyword research and competitor monitoring.
- Managing and optimising GMC including troubleshooting feed issues and setting up GMC promotions to maximise exposure of our trade calendar.
- Implementing the trade and promotional calendar via PPC.
- Collaborate with the Performance Marketing Manager to develop testing strategies for expanding audiences, finding new traffic sources and new adcopy.
- Experience using a variety of tools (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and their Editors)
- Building relationships with third party partners (i.e. Google and Microsoft) to ensure you are a subject matter expert, and are kept up-to-date on the latest features and releases.
- Managing relationships with and delivering performance reporting and actionable insight to internal stakeholders.
About You:
- 2+ years experience in performance marketing in either a company-led marketing operation or as an agency 'doer', not just managed external agencies at an advertiser.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
- Has experience with Performance Max, Google Shopping and Merchant Center.
- Highly numerate with strong Excel skills, ability to manipulate and analyse large amounts of data.
- Demonstrable understanding of the wider digital marketing landscape (CRM, Affiliate and SEO).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as stakeholder management.
- Possess a can-do attitude and demonstrate creativity and ability to come up with innovative and original solutions.
- A bias to action and a strong desire to make an impact.
- Proactive, hard worker with lots of initiative.
- Team player with the ability and interest in supporting the wider team.
- Demonstrable passion for working in ecommerce / digital marketing with a commercial mindset.
- Google Ads accreditation (preferred)
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with bid management tool MarinOne
- Experience with Amazon Advertising
- Knowledge of paid social (Meta, Pinterest & TikTok) and display/video channels (RTB House, Youtube, Discovery)
