MEPPI's Corporate Marketing Department is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to implement content strategies to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and enhance customer engagement across various digital platforms. In addition, the successful candidate will assist with developing and implementing a comprehensive digital roadmap and content marketing strategy to support overall marketing objectives.
THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders and contracted agencies to identify, develop, implement, monitor, and optimize digital marketing programs throughout the customer buying journey and over the lifetime of product ownership to achieve customer lead, acquisition and retention goals.
- Guide the development and evolution of the Mitsubishi Electric Power Products Inc. (MEPPI) corporate website. Plan, propose, prioritize and implement new website updates to continually enrich the user experience, increase awareness and perception of the MEPPI brand, products, services and solutions, and increase lead generation via content curation, search engine optimization, navigation improvements and enhanced functionality.
- Create and optimize engaging content for various digital channels including websites, blogs, social media, webinars, podcasts, email campaigns, digital catalogs, and spec sheets, and other marketing collateral.
- Plan and execute paid and organic search strategies and tactics across multiple search engines.
- Plan and execute paid and organic social media marketing strategies and tactics across multiple social media platforms.
- Participate in planning and executing digital display network, trade media and channel partner marketing strategies and tactics including banner and retargeting ads, advertorials, product and business listings, and event marketing.
- Participate in planning and executing e-mail marketing and lead nurturing campaigns and workflows utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) and marketing automation software.
- Help develop relevant content for target audiences that will drive website, social media and e-marketing impressions, clicks, page views, engagements and conversions. Collaborate with internal and external teams to create brand and product messaging and visuals.
- Continually measure the effectiveness of digital marketing activities by establishing, monitoring and reporting on digital marketing analytics including website traffic and visitor behavior, A/B tests of marketing assets and audiences, spend, results, and trends. Utilize data and insights to perpetually refine and optimize digital marketing programs.
- Collaborate with corporate and divisional Marketing stakeholders and company IT on digital innovation initiatives to enhance website integration with CRM, marketing automation, and other digital systems. Stay informed of digital marketing trends and emergent digital marking platforms and tools. Integrate new practices and capabilities and support the strategic roadmap and provide competitive advantage.
- Further the goals and positive, professional image of MEPPI through effective interaction with customers, vendors and internal departments.
- Know MEPPI’s Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies. Be able to fully discuss the importance of these policies and how they impact work.
EDUCATION/SPECIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or related field with 3-5 years of experience in B2B marketing of technical capital goods and related services, or equivalent education and experience.
- Advanced knowledge of social media platforms with a background in content marketing, digital strategy and creating engaging online experiences.
- Intermediate knowledge with CRM and implementation marketing automation.
- Advanced interpersonal, presentation, writing and communication skills.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to distill technical and data-rich information into actionable insights.
- Advanced project management and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Advanced computer skills with emphasis on Content Management Systems (CMS), CRM software, generative AI software, website and social media analytic tools and services, Adobe Creative Cloud (graphic design), and Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time as needed.
