Role Description
Eleven has an exciting three-year plan, during which the organisation is expected to grow with a vigorous approach to opening new opportunities and markets. Firmly established in the UK football system and the MLS, Eleven has also recently expanded into one of the most exciting leagues in the world, the NFL, with more to come in 2023 and beyond.
As a result, Eleven are now searching for a talented Brand Coordinator who is not only capable of building strong relationships with key stakeholders but whose vision and commercial story-telling can help grow awareness of Eleven’s partnerships and brand activation.
Key Responsibilities
The Brand Coordinator's primary responsibility is to assist the Brand & Marketing Manager in creating and implement effective communication strategies that support the announcement and delivery of key sports partnerships, as well as holding the Eleven brand to the highest standards and ensuring its seamless and diligent execution across a range of platforms.
The role is perfect for someone who has a passion for brand, design, marketing and activation with all three being important components of this position. The Brand Coordinator will be responsible for working with a variety of leading sports brands across the Premier League, EFL, top European leagues, as well as the NBA, NFL, and MLS. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sports and digital advertising, as they will be responsible for visualizing brands and their activation across a multitude of platforms.
A degree of flexible working is required to accommodate US and UK shift patterns with attention to detail and the ability to manage conflicting priorities also being an important competency in this role.
This will include:
· Supporting the Brand & Marketing Manager with new partnership and marketing projects.
· Creation of internal and external presentation documents.
· Working closely with Eleven agencies to co-ordinate partnership launches and activation content.
· Production of sales marketing collateral.
· Ensuring marketing content is seen by our target audience, including social media targeting and post boosting.
· Drafting press release editorials and supporting activation copy.
· Producing mock-up visual media of Eleven’s platforms and new inventory.
· Assisting in the production and delivery of Partner Activation collateral for Eleven’s contracted partners.
· Supporting Eleven’s Events Team in the creation of event collateral.
· Maintaining Eleven’s brand identity across our affiliated partnerships, inclusive of in-venue stadium inventory.
· Collate content and design of external Quarterly Newsletters.
· Ideation around content and blog opportunities for Eleven as part of an ongoing communications plan.
· Production of Eleven branded materials including stationery, merchandise and apparel.
· Research and ideation around new projects, supporting the Sales efforts to drive new opportunities for growth.
· Ideation and execution of Eleven’s branded kit asset activation strategy.
· Strong internal communication with key Eleven stakeholders, representing the Partnerships Team in cross-departmental forums as required.
· Production of reports, communications and presentations to support the delivery of each rights-holder partnership, and ad hoc projects as required.
The successful Brand Coordinator will:
· Have a passion for design and creativity, with a strong eye for detail and composition.
· Have the Skillset to create and update Adobe Creative Cloud suite files, specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
· Understand the various file formats required for delivery of Eleven/partner collateral.
· Be a recent graduate in marketing/brand/design disciplines or evidenced equivalent experience.
· Understand the value and impact of brand and activation in a commercial setting.
· Be a creative thinker and enjoy solving complex problems.
· Have demonstrable sports industry awareness.
· Have excellent written and oral attention to detail.
· Have experience operating within budget parameters.
· Build strong relationships both internally and externally.
· Leverage CRM to support strong internal communication, file storage and reporting.
· Represent Eleven to the highest communication and behavioural standards.
Advantageous:
· Experience or demonstrable interested working in sports, particularly in the US.
· Photography / Videography experience.
· Proficient on Adobe After Effects.
· Copywriting experience in a sports or marketing setting.
· PR experience.
