Description

This role will be part of the global digital marketing team responsible for woodmac.com and eCommerce. This position will report to the Product Owner responsible for Woodmac.com and our eCommerce platform. This position will work as part of a team to deliver enhancements to our digital platforms to drive demand generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a SCRUM team to deliver continuous improvements to woodmac.com
  • Provide QA support for the website team and support the product owner in developing the .com strategy
  • Use data to report, derive insights and improve website performance and drive lead generation
  • Work with campaign marketers to ensure effective digital user journeys – building landing pages and content pages as required
  • Data analysis to optimise user journeys
  • Reporting website performance, drawing insights and providing recommendations for improved performance.
  • Providing support to the business to help them utilise the website effectively in their marketing activities.
  • Optimise content and user journeys considering SEO and Google Analytics
  • Analyse web traffic metrics to find opportunities for improving audience messaging on digital channels
Entry requirements
  • 5 GCSEs grade A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English and Maths)
  • Educated to degree level
You will have:
  • A proven interest in Digital Marketing
  • An interest in working within a global B2B environment
  • An Interest in website development and management – particularly how it can be used in a global B2B environment
  • Possess excellent communication and writing skills in English
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to influence peers
  • Be able to demonstrate experience in stakeholder management
  • Be curious about digital marketing tools and trends
  • Have the ability to think creatively and with strong problem-solving skills
  • Possess a proven track record of success both within education and the workplace
  • Be energetic, eager, ambitious and have a genuine interest in developing and growing
Training to be provided

You will undertake the ground-breaking Apprentify Digital Marketer Level 3 apprenticeship.

We have designed our programme to offer you 4 distinct routes to focus your career path and specialise in areas such as Social Media, Search Engine Marketing, Web Design or Web Development. These paths are designed to jump-start your career and make you stand out in a competitive field increasing your future earning potential.

During the 15 months of training, you will learn cutting-edge theory and industry practice across three Knowledge Modules:

Marketing Principles – starting with the basics you will learn how to effectively target customers based on their wants and desires as well as how the sales and marketing funnels work. You will understand what makes customers buy or not buy and how marketing can influence this as well as how to effectively focus on target markets and manage customers to make them loyal to a business.

How the Web Works – delving into the technical you will learn the Principles of Coding and how marketers create effective websites, designs and user interfaces. This includes how web design and development drive engagement and conversions.

Driving Return on Investment – using data to create detailed customer insight, you will learn how to use industry leading platforms (including Google Analytics) to understand the online customer journey and improve your marketing based on customer usage of your website.
