Summary of Role.
Reporting initially directly into the Principal, this is an exciting time to be part of the Hildon Team. As a marketing led organization, with plans to accelerate our growth through distributor links and strong investment plans & NPD, this is an exciting role with a significant opportunity to progress and grow. We have a small in house marketing team at Hildon, so this role does require the individual to be flexible and manage varying workloads according to business need. We are working towards a strategic shift in our brand focus, with the strap line Fewer, Bigger and Better being our consistent message. This directive from a marketing perspective will focus on driving our chosen investor partners to the next levels of commercial development and delivering a far better return on investment.
Key Responsibilities - This is by no means an exhaustive list and the role will require you to accept additional responsibilities.
Social Media & Website Development
- Management of all social media platforms and content. Creation of monthly social media planners.
- E-commerce, experience with Shopify is desirable.
- Creation, development and evolution of Social Media Strategy.
- Collation & analysis of social media data each month for all channels.
- Gathering of social media resources – liaising with all social media executives with other companies and ensuring we create posts, spreading awareness of the partnerships/ brands.
- Working close with the sales team to ensure all their customers are being followed. - also following potential new customers for new business generation.
- Creation of calls to action.
- Liaising with customers over social media and direct engagement– Where to buy & answering general queries.
- Updating personal knowledge of social media ensuring awareness of industry standards, adhering to brand guidelines and tone of voice documentation.
- Creation of ad campaigns on (promotions of page, selecting and building demographics)
- Evolution of website.
- Own the website retainer and developer relationship.
- E-commerce re-modelling.
- Collation of website analytics and reports. (Monthly)
- Website administration. (Resetting user passwords and helping with any general queries)
General Marketing
- Competitor Analysis. (ensuring we are keeping up to date with competitors)
- Partner relationship building.
- Marketing Administration.
- Proof Reading.
- General Support for Director and Board members
- Opportunities, gathering testimonials, collection of resources to be distributed.
- Liaising with external clients with matters regarding all marketing elements.
- Policing of the brand.
Advertising & Sponsorship
- Creation of adverts
- Negotiation of media pricing.
- Collection of printing and other marketing resources.
- Creation & Execution of competitions to be run with sponsors (start to finish).
- Building bespoke presentations for sponsors.
- Relationship building and liaison.
Who are we looking for?
- CMS management. (Web)
- Good Knowledge of SEO. (Writing Meta-descriptors for better SEO results)
- In-depth knowledge of analytics to strengthen website UX. UX testing. (all devices and browsers)
- Building of wireframes.
- Category/customer insights and data proficiency.
- The ability to not only interpret data, but also manipulate and build business reporting tools. The ability to draw actionable insights from data.
- A very good working knowledge of all Microsoft products.
- Strong presenting skills
- A professional and emotional maturity
- Clear demonstration of entrepreneurial spirit, often working without guidance.
- Time Management and prioritising own workload.
- A naturally inquisitive person who questions the factors driving trends and can see opportunities.
