Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter opened its doors on 31st March 2012. The unique attraction offers visitors the ultimate chance to get up close to authentic sets, discover the magic behind spellbinding special effects and explore the behind-the-scenes secrets of the Harry Potter film series including stepping in to the Great Hall and Gringotts Wizarding Bank. The Studio Tour has welcomed over 15 million visitors and has been well received with 96% of the 46,000+ reviews on TripAdvisor rating it as ‘Excellent’ or ‘Very Good’ and over 60,000 4 or 5 star ratings on Google Reviews.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour London is part of the Warner Bros. Worldwide Tours and Retail Group which includes the new flagship store, Harry Potter New York, Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood and Harry Potter On Location London. Harry Potter On Location London encompasses the Platform 9 ¾ shops at Kings Cross station and Heathrow Airport.
Your New Role...
We have an incredible new opportunity for anyone looking to start their career in the magical world of marketing! We have a wonderful marketing team here at the Harry Potter Studio Tour, where they are looking for someone to assist in the implementation of the digital strategy to drive traffic, raise awareness and increase ticket sales across the worldwide tours and retail stores. You will be managing the day to day processes including reviewing and updating content; reporting; analysis and helping rollout effective digital campaigns.
Part of the role will also include communicating and working together with other divisions, including Technology, Customer Service and Visitor Experience departments to ensure smooth administration.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Social media community management duties on a daily basis, including liaising with internal teams to escalate any queries as required, including assisting with proofing social media content plans.
- Assisting with copywriting and briefing content creation, which must be consistent with our brand voice, style and tone.
- Assist with asset collation for social, web, email and digital marketing campaigns.
- Assist with updating websites using the content management system. Ongoing review of visitor feedback around user experience, suggesting improvements based on responses.
- Deploy requests from across the business to support other departments including Education, Events, Visitor Experience, Customer Service, E-Commerce.
- Support competitions programme; creation of competition form pages, secure collection of data and upload to database and reporting.
- Support PPC and SEO activity; proofing all ad copy, destination URLs and tags and regularly checking for visibility on search engines.
Qualifications & Experiences...
- Previous experience working in a Digital Marketing environment - experience in the leisure / tourism / attractions industry an advantage
- Experience sourcing and creating content intended for use across various platforms
- Excellent all-round MS Office software skills
- Experience using content management systems, email campaign builder or social scheduling platforms an advantage
- Knowledge of HTML and Photoshop an advantage
- Understanding of tracking campaign performance to measure success
