The Digital Marketing Assistant candidate will be joining the UK’s largest tyre distributor with national coverage supporting over 8,000 customers in the automotive sector. Stapleton’s Tyre Services has a national team comprising of over 1,000 employees and the largest distribution network of 11 warehouses nationwide. Stapleton’s Tyre Services supports the independent, dealership and national retailer sectors through supplying excellent quality products from our tyre manufacturer partners such as Bridgestone, Michelin, Pirelli and many more. Established in 1938 the company has grown from strength to strength expanding with the investment from its Japanese owner, Itochu.
Role
In the Digital Marketing Assistant role, you will be joining an expanding marketing team, reporting to the Ecommerce Manager, and working closely with our Digital Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing to deliver the Companies digital marketing strategy. Day to day, the responsibilities will focus on supporting the operation for our customer website services, which will include liaising with agencies and supporting our national sales teams. The role will be fast paced and diverse, therefore the ideal candidate will need to be confident, passionate, and self-motivating with excellent organisational skills.
This permanent role is based upon 40hrs/week between Monday and Friday, with hybrid working available after a successful training and induction period, to likely include 2-3 days spent onsite at our Letchworth offices.

What you will be doing
- Using the company’s website management platform, administer all Customer websites and website widgets from application stage through to Customers signing off the websites and the websites going live.
- Work with our Customers third party web providers to deliver our e-commerce widget service, ensuring the widgets are added to the websites in a timely manner and added to the websites in an optimum position to aid sales conversion.
- Take on day to day responsibility for managing all end consumer order issues via the website management platform, through to resolution.
- Provide weekly reporting to the Ecommerce Manager to update on Customer new website applications which are in progress and Customer website sales performance.
- Regularly review and update branded website content for all Customer websites
- Work with the Marketing Promotions Executive to ensure all customer sell-out promotions are applied to the website platform in line with the promotions calendar.
- Regular communication with Customers and internal Sales teams, resolving queries, website updates / change requests.
- Identify areas of product improvement and make recommendations to the Ecommerce Manager. Keeping up to date with e-commerce trends and market changes.
- Support in planning promotional events, company meetings and conferences hosted by the marketing department.
- Supporting with the creation of email communications utilising the company’s email client
- Manage and maintain a dedicated mailbox for communications related to the website management platform.
- Raising purchase orders as and when required using the Company’s purchase to pay platform.
About you
- A Marketing degree or CIM qualification desirable but not essential
- Experience in e-commerce, SEO, and GA desirable
- An understanding of basic HTML coding is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- A self-starter with the drive to succeed
- Previous experience within a B2B environment is desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Must be reliable, punctual and work well within a team
