Digital Marketing Assistant
A great opportunity for someone who is looking for an entry level position that involves content creation of many kinds. Sock Snob UK Ltd is a company that has shipped over 1 million packs of socks in the last 12 months to our worldwide customer base through multiple online selling channels.
The successful person will be primarily involved in a wide range of content creation activities including video editing, image editing, photography, social media & website editing for our products and other tasks that help showcase our products to our existing & potential customers.
As a digital marketing assistant, you will be working alongside our ecommerce assistants & creative designer / image editor as well as our partner advertising agencies & remote colleagues to help optimize our marketing & advertising pages.
Tasks
- Image Editing - Using adobe photoshop, repurpose images that we have collected from our suppliers or taken ourselves for our online selling channels.
- Photography - Support our team with product photography to facilitate product & marketing imagery in the form of lifestyle shoots & additional product angles.
- Video Creation - Support the creation of new video content for avenues such as social media , amazon advertising, google advertising & the website to help increase revenue.
- Content Marketing - Creating content to aid other team members & agency partners who load content onto various platforms.
- Social Media - Helping design social media posts as a part of our remarketing strategy.
- Assisting with Web Design - Knowledge of web design & website platforms such as wordpress or shopify is preferable.
- Customer Service - Due to the seasonal nature of our business, we ask that you help us with customer service tasks during our busy period (Mid Nov - End of Jan)
To Excel in This Role:
- Proven experience of video & photoshop skills.
- The ability to provide engaging content of various tones across a variety of different channels.
- The ability to work in a team with remote colleagues or colleagues in the office.
- Excellent time-keeper, honest and dependable.
- Familiarity with google suite packages such as google sheets.
- Photography experience
- Experience in the basics of website design, google shopping or other advertising platforms is beneficial.
To show your photoshop / video editing skills, it would help your application if you were able to, in some way, show us an example of what you have worked on in the past.
Although the position says remote working, please be advised that we expect the successful applicant to work in the office most of the time. We allow hybrid work occasionally during the right circumstances.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £20,683.00-£22,000.00 per year

- A-Level or equivalent (required)
