Digital Marketing Assistant
The Role

As you collaborate closely with our digital marketing manager and wider digital team, you will engage in every facet of our digital marketing initiatives, focusing on the efficient execution of our client's digital strategies. You will also receive dedicated support to enhance your existing skills in managing all aspects of digital marketing, with a special emphasis on developing core and advanced digital proficiencies.
This position is tailor-made for candidates with approximately 1-3 years of digital marketing experience, showcasing competence and expertise in various areas outlined in the 'skills, competencies, and experience' section below. Responsibilities
- Create client reports, meticulously organising and contributing valuable insights that drive success.
- Support the onboarding of existing clients to new services.
- Help further client success by creating local listings and administrating citation progress.
- Support the performance marketing director in constructing automation workflows and streamlining processes, revolutionising our approach to efficiency.
- Conduct A/B testing across digital assets, fine-tuning every element to maximise performance.
- Emerge as one of our in-house experts on the renowned CRM/CMS platform, HubSpot, shaping its potential to drive extraordinary results.
- Support email marketing initiatives, expertly designing captivating target audiences with newsletters and compelling client mailers.
- Conduct keyword research, implement on-page modifications, and build ethical, high-quality links.
- Engage in outreach efforts, connecting with influencers and partners to expand our digital reach.
Competencies and Experience:
- Showcasing a keen interest in all things digital, you will excel in one or more of the following areas:
- Email Marketing: Crafting compelling campaigns that captivate audiences.
- SEO (Auditing, Technical, Link Building, and/or On-Page)
- Utilisation of Leading Systems: Seamlessly navigating platforms such as SEMrush, HubSpot, and GSC.
- Automation and Workflow Building: Working as part of a team to streamline operations and maximise efficiency.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on digital marketing experience in a business or agency setting.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring nothing escapes your keen eye.
- Driven by motivation, goal orientation, and unwavering persistence to achieve outstanding results.
- A proactive self-starter who thrives as part of a collaborative team.
- A thirst for knowledge and a burning desire to continuously learn and grow, both within the role and beyond.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of captivating any audience.
- Cool, calm, and collected under pressure, adept at delivering stellar outcomes even with tight deadlines.

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours a week.
Salary: Competitive, based on experience (£19,000 - £23,000)
Location: Hybrid, you must work from our Upton Magna (near Shrewsbury) Offices Three days a Week.
