About Withersworldwide
A law firm focused on people and collaboration. For the past 125 years, Withers has supported some of the world's most remarkable people and organisations at defining moments in their lives. We are the only international law firm focused on successful individuals and private capital, working closely with founders, investors and family offices. We also advise governments, charities, global brands and start-ups of all shapes and sizes. Many of our clients are shaping the future and creating solutions to tackle many of the world's problems. It makes for a fascinating and challenging practice. Our role is to get to know each individual client, find out where they want to be, and help them to get there – whether they are building a business, looking after their family, involved in a complex dispute or protecting their finances for the future. To meet their unique needs we are exceptionally collaborative, working together across teams and time zones. We are agile, focusing on strategy rather than rigid ideas and traditional hierarchy. It is a truly flexible working culture that puts people first. Join us to be part of a team that is always looking to the future. Where initiative, big ideas and bold moves are always encouraged. Where you can truly be yourself.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for three bright and proactive interns to assist us to understand better our client base and also to assist our digital marketing team. We are the law firm for success and so our client base is fascinating – from sports stars to art dealers, from tech entrepreneurs to family offices, and from aspirational brands to well-known charities – we are proud to help our clients achieve success, whatever success means to them. We are passionate about the clients that we act for, so we are looking for someone who shares our passion and is keen to help us serve these clients better. We adhere to the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion for all our clients and these are values that you will have to share. If you have an inquisitive mind, enjoy desk research, be tech savvy and are happy engaging with people across the firm to find the information you need, then this could be just the opportunity for you.
Why do we need help in this area?
We regularly review the information we hold on our clients to understand their needs so that we can help them to succeed. Over the summer, we would like to explore our clients' needs and interests further. We want to take the time to understand where our clients live, work, invest, and donate, spotting current trends and identifying how these trends may be changing. We want to think about their personal and business goals and how they can mitigate risk in achieving these. We want to share these insights with the lawyers around our international offices to strengthen our internal connections and enhance the level of integrated advice we provide. The project has a strong marketing component, but is also closely linked to the firm’s strategy, finance, and knowledge management functions and will involve working with people in these roles across our firm.
At the same time there is an opportunity to get involved in supporting the activities of our digital team. This group of marketeers runs our website, our social media activities taking opportunities to raise the firm's profile in our target markets.
