Wavelength is a leading learning design agency, with offices in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East. We work across both the education sector and workplace learning and development, to provide fully bespoke learning solutions in a wide variety of industries and subjects.
We are in an exciting period of growth and are looking to expand our team of freelance, contract and permanent staff in the UK to help lead the discovery and design of challenging and ambitious learning solutions.
Priority roles are:
- Learning experience designers
- Digital learning designers
- Content writers
- Project Managers
- Business Development Professionals/Bid writers
What you’ll be doing:
- working and collaborating with teams of LX Designers, Digital Designers, and other key project roles to create quality, bespoke learning experiences.
As an ideal candidate, you will have:
- experience and passion for creating quality learning in either the corporate or vocational education and training industry
- a natural tendency to be creative, think outside the box and problem solve
- proven experience in digital learning design, instructional design, learner experience design, UX, LMS systems or development (depending on role)
- a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in workplace training and assessment (and qualifications in a relevant discipline, e.g. adult education, HR, business, finance, ICT/digital design, psychology, communications, organisational development, management, or marketing)
- a demonstrated ability of collaborating with others during the design and development process
- outstanding communication skills with experience of working with subject matter experts
- a demonstrated ability of managing difficult situations, e.g. shifting/competing deadlines, challenging meetings, client expectations, and the ability to multitask
- attention to detail, be proactive and adaptable
- tech-savviness and be comfortable using Google Workspace and MS office suite
- experience designing with or using eLearning authoring tools like Articulate Rise and Storyline
- experience with applying human-centred design or design thinking.
