Job description
You will be at the forefront of the capture, preservation and processing of data from a wide range of systems for a large and diverse client base.
You will be expected to work in conjunction with SYTECH’s robust scope of accreditation as well as procedures and national guidelines, ACPO guidelines and our ISO 17025 standards, whilst working alongside our technical procedures and quality management system.
We are looking for applicants who are:
o Able to ensure that all work is carried out in strict compliance with SYTECH’s Quality Management System and accredited policies, procedures and routines.
o Able to carry out work as instructed and report any anomalies or encountered risk of non-conforming work to the Laboratory Manager or Team Leader.
o Able to work with digital information in a range of formats.
o Able to conduct all work with accuracy and attention to detail.
o Able to keep attention to data security and integrity at all times.
o To accept the possible requirement to attend Court to present findings and conclusions under cross-examination.
o To be responsible for ensuring that the examination laboratory is kept tidy, that all equipment is kept in good working order and is held in a designated location when not in use.
o Willing to learn and become proficient at a large and complex tool set, that is appropriate to the department/team you are trained to work within, these include – Cellebrite Touch/4PC, Cellebrite Physical Analyser, MSAB XRY, MSAB XAMN, Forensic Tool Kit, Magnet AXIOM and X-Ways to extract and process digital data.
Training will be provided internally to help you to progress in your role so that you can become an Expert in the field.
