Posh Gecko is looking for a highly talented digital designer/illustrator to join our animation studio in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

Our video content is used by brands and businesses all over the world. You'll work alongside our creative teams, assisting with idea development and sketched storyboarding, illustrated character design, icon design, environments and other assets that can be used within our projects. Ultimately, you'll help us produce market leading animation and promotional content for our clients.

The skills

- A highly skilled and efficient user of the Adobe Suite

- Possess a superb understanding of graphic design, typography and layout

- Able to sketch traditionally or digitally (for storyboarding)

- Be highly creative and thrive in a lively creative environment

- Self-motivated and able to engage well in a team environment

- Happy to work on multiple projects at the same time

- Experience of working to tight deadlines

- Have at least two years experience working freelance or within an agency

- Have awesome examples showcasing a range of projects across various styles

The role

The candidate will be required to work on a variety of projects from conception to final delivery. If you’re looking for a role with almost complete creative freedom then this is for you!

The candidate will be expected to tackle all projects given to them with the same level of enthusiasm and passion to deliver something amazing!

This is a permanent position with a negotiable salary dependent on the candidates experience. Junior, mid and senior designers will all be considered.

Suitability for interview will be primarily based on the quality of your previous work. Please show us examples of you digital illustration that aligns with our portfolio. More general graphic design such as print, product etc. is not what we're looking for.

This position is not suitable for remote working and requires the candidate to be based full-time at our studio located in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, England.
