We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented digital design assistant to join our expanding digital team. This exciting position provides the opportunity to create bespoke graphics, assets and templates for CRM and Paid Media as well as imagery across the website, within articles and on landing pages. The assets you create will be visible on a global scale. We’re looking for someone who is naturally well-organised, has a passion and vision to create innovative concepts designed to optimise our online content.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Working across our digital channels you will be confident to deliver projects working from concept to completion, ensuring you adhere to the Primark personality and push boundaries creatively.
- You will bring to life our campaign imagery for editorial use, cropping, artworking, creating GIFs and typography overlay.
- Create graphical assets for a wide range of campaigns across all Primark departments. Assets will be needed for email, including animated gifs, paid media (including social), and web.
- Confident working with a Digital Asset Management system to maintain all assets in one place in a structured and organised manner.
- Demonstrate confidence to propose new ideas and concepts.
- Work with Paid teams across the network to create digital marketing creatives for their campaigns.
- Support the digital and wider Brand and Marketing teams to ensure all of your creative output has a balance of commerciality and a clear UX through processes.
Skills & Experience:
- A degree in Art and Design, Graphic Design or similar
- Strong fundamental design skills are essential.
- Expert knowledge in the Adobe CS suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Email design experience – ideally Salesforce Content Builder, but similar content building template tools will be considered.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and responding to tasks with an efficient, can-do attitude.
- A creative thinker and problem solver with exceptional attention to detail, excellent typography and layout skills and a good understanding of UI and UX design.
- Be organised and pro-active, support the wider digital design team in meeting deadlines with efficiency, while maintaining high standards.
- Customer focused with a keen eye for imagery and different layout styles.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Industry experience
- An interest in culture, media and the arts are a must; being connected and up to date with trends and movements both in and out of the industry, and constantly looking for opportunities for this to inspire our digital look and feel

- Highly organised, detail-oriented, possessing the ability to effectively prioritise projects and deliverables whilst meeting deadlines set by management.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills, ability to multi-task, plan and prioritise work schedule and work within agreed timescales.
- Excellent attention to detail and an ability to analyse and interrogate high volumes of data as well as demonstrating an ability to focus on higher level overview.
- Be a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal/communication skills, ability to develop effective working relationships.
- Operates with a high level of integrity, diplomacy, tact and professionalism.
- Effective and persuasive presentation skills, including the ability to present complex information comprehensible to relevant stakeholders.
- Sound judgement, unquestionable ethics and integrity with high degree of transparency and trust
