This is a fully remote role, however it’s preferable the candidate is able to travel to The Academy in Manchester city once a fortnight for the Juice training.
Job description.
As a Digital Content Marketing Apprentice, you will be planning, developing, creating and evaluating content for the business. Your job responsibilities would include (but not be limited to):
- Brainstorming new and creative ideas
- Researching and coming up with content ideas (for digital and traditional channels)
- Innovating and presenting new communication, PR and content strategies
- Implementing and supporting content/comms marketing strategies including social media, website, blog, internal/external newsletter
- Supporting the development of the digital employee advocacy program (Linkedin)
- Uploading and editing content for employee advocacy program
- Developing engaging online content including videos, graphics, and written copy
- Measuring and reporting performance of content and digital marketing campaigns, assessing against goals, using relevant sites such as Google Analytics
- Keeping abreast of new social media sites, technologies, and digital marketing trends and insights; implementing these new technologies and insights in developing campaign
- Event support and planning (Live & Online)
- SAP Database cleansing
- Special Projects e.g. content repurpose program, agency comms program, freelancer research, influencer research. Media & digital platform analysis

Entry requirements
A-C (4-9) English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent
A passion for marketing, communications, social media and digital content!
Training to be provided
The Juice Academy is a digital marketing Academy based in Castlefield, Manchester. They train up to 80 apprentices a year, whilst the apprentices work with businesses around the North West (and sometimes further afield!). The training is delivered by industry professionals from their sister company, Tangerine Communications. The Juice Academy training sessions are a hybrid of face-to-face learning within the academy in Castlefield, and online delivery via Zoom. Apprentices will also receive on the job training in the workplace. The employer is ideally looking for someone based close enough to Manchester to travel for the bi-weekly training, however they can consider candidates in further afield locations.
The final three months of the course will be the ‘assessment period’ during which apprentices are expected to produce a portfolio of work and complete a series of assessments. Full digital marketing training to be provided on-the-job and off-the-job. The Juice Academy partner with Apprentify, who support apprentices in the workplace through development coaching.
The qualification will include:
- Level 3 Content Creator

Successful candidates will be invited to a second stage, where you will complete several assessments, including Maths & English. If these results are successful, your application will be sent to the employer who will shortlist for interviews. If your interview is successful, you will be expected to start at the end of April. Note: The Juice Academy will recruit a number of apprentices to start in April/May and while you’re applying for a position with this employer your application may be sent to other employers if it's unsuccessful with this employer.
- Please note: For the first year, you will be paid a minimum salary of £22,000.
