ClickDo digital agency in London manages several UK-based news publications, primarily serving readers in the United Kingdom.
We are looking to hire a remote Content Creator on a part-time basis, supporting us with multimedia content creation and news coverage relevant for our publications (websites and (social) media channels).
You will play an important role in delivering engaging and creative content to our audience that enhances our written web content with the goal to reach more people via different channels to build our brands.
This role involves perfect and creative writing skills, photography and videography skills using a smartphone and publishing skills to produce and distribute high-quality content including text, images, and videos. A determined work attitude towards meeting weekly targets is desirable.
The ideal candidate should have an entrepreneurial mindset, taking ownership of the content they produce with the drive to cover topics that are insightful, trending, entertaining and most of all useful.
The Role
- Produce, execute, and publish a range of content to be used across our digital channels (social media, blog, email, streaming channels) based on provided brief.
- Collaborate with our editors and designers to create branded campaign assets.
- Create content that resonates with our community whilst supporting our marketing and business goals.
- Develop creative content ideas and suggest new and innovative ways to present and boost our content.
- Keep up to date with new digital marketing trends and implement these where suitable.
- Monitor, analyse and report on performance of digital channels to help inform future content activities (familiarity with marketing tools and WordPress is advantageous).
- Research information, review, interview, or reach out for specific enquiries related to the content covered.
Requirements
· The successful candidate will be a strong and confident communicator with excellent English proficiency and presentation skills.
· Working independently with the ability to meet deadlines without compromising the quality of the work is important to us.
· Previous content creation, blogging, journalism, or media experience is not strictly required but is preferred.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in communications, marketing, media, journalism, or related field would be a plus.
Proven content, media, or blogging/vlogging experience for a minimum of 6 months is desirable.
This work offers some flexibility as it’s remote and only for a few hours daily (negotiable).
