We have a flexible part or full time position available within our friendly team for a bookings team member. This is a informal phone-based role from which you will be introducing our company to families and new parents, explaining their photoshoot experience, booking a time into the diary for them and running through some ideas of what to wear and bring with them to help them make the most of their photoshoot.
This is more of a service role than a sales role, although you will be striving to achieve daily bookings targets. And as you can imagine the more people you call the more bookings you will get. This role is ideally suited to someone who has telesales experience.
As you will predominantly be talking with mums about their family and babies, a genuine interest in children is a must. Our call types are a mixture of warm and hot leads and those who have come from a telesales background will instantly find how easy and engaged the customers are on the phone.
Hours/Schedule
This will be a part time role, the ideal candidate would be able to include one weekend working day.
The Company
Having significantly expanded over the last few years, we now run Milton Keynes and Northampton's 2 largest photography studios. Despite growing we still operate a small family business ethos and environment with a fun energetic team.
Experience
Previous experience working in an outbound sales role/telesales is highly desirable. Given you will be based on the phone at a desk for the majority of the day, it is preferable to have experience working in this kind of environment.
*Photography students and aspiring photographers need not apply for the role. Instead, look out for trainee photographer positions that occasionally arise in our business as we expand.
Skills
The ideal candidate will need:
- A outgoing personality and be easy to talk to
- To enjoy chatting with mums about their families and babies
- To be efficient with their time
- To be computer literate
- Experience or confidence to work consistently on the phone, making outbound photoshoot bookings calls
