We are looking for a Diagnostic/CT Radiographer to join the team at our centre based in Maidstone on a bank/casual basis.

As a Diagnostic/CT Radiographer, you will be required to provide a professional, patient-centred approach and high-quality scanning services in accordance to the standards set out by the company.

What you’ll do:

Key areas for the role:

Follow all duties as a health and care professions council (HCPC) registrant (standards of conduct, performance and ethics).
Follow all health and care professions council (HCPC) standards of proficiency.
Ensure that all staff follow clinical protocols, policies and procedures and operate in full compliance.

Your key responsibilities:

Liaise closely with the multi-disciplinary team.
Ensure that all staff maintain safe and effective working practices, including the operation of equipment and systems in use.
Ensure that all patients experience the highest levels of service, in line with the agreed expectations for scanning within GenesisCare centres.
Ensure that the unit maintains accurate and complete records of patient treatments, in line with the agreed processes within GenesisCare.
Ensure that GenesisCare clinical audit, radiation protection and quality assurance requirements are met.
Ensure that compliments are recorded alongside any incidents or complaints that are also thoroughly and properly investigated, and that the necessary safeguards are taken to prevent recurrence.
To adhere to all HCPC standards.
Pro-actively maintain own continuing professional development (CPD) in accordance with GenesisCare and HCPC professional standards.

What you’ll have:

Experience and skills:

Experience in all aspects of diagnostic imaging to a very high level of competence
Evidence of empathetic and a holistic approach to patient care
Experience in private health sector
Good experience with resolving complaints satisfactorily
Sound understanding of governance
A wide range of clinical skills
Evidence of effective organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
Able to make independent judgments/decisions, ability to solve problems
Able to work flexibly to achieve GenesisCare business objectives

Qualifications and Knowledge:

DCR (DR) or BSc (Hons) or equivalent in Diagnostic Radiography
HCPC registration
Evidence of continuing professional development
