Job description
Minimum qualifications:
- Master's degree in Applied Physics, Materials Science, Optoelectronics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience working in a semiconductor fabrication technical environment.
- 3 years of experience in advanced device architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- PhD or equivalent in Applied Physics, Materials Science, Optoelectronics, or a related discipline.
- 5 years of direct experience working in a semiconductor fabrication technical environment.
- Experience with research and development experiments and advanced data analysis.
- Expertise in optoelectronic device fabrication.
- Expertise in optoelectronic device physics (such as LEDs, lasers, photovoltaics), including theory and experiments.
- Expertise in analyzing overall device performance and optical properties such as light extraction.

Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance micro-LED emitters from end to end: from physical concepts and design to demonstrating device performance and manufacturability.
- Conceive, fabricate and evaluate novel device architectures and fabrication processes.
- Design, execute and analyze experiments to improve device performance.
- Interact with teams including epitaxy, process engineering, characterization and test.
