Job description

An exciting opportunity to lead clinical development and expertise in our MSK teams regarding the assessment, diagnosis and management of lower quadrant MSK disorders. The role is firmly based in driving forward active rehab of lower quadrant presentations, with a remit to support and build clinical skills throughout the teams.

You will hold a complex caseload, lead education and training, provide supervision and mentoring, and provide a role model for les experience therapists. Based across our clinical sites, travel will be part of this role.

**We offer a relocation package of up to £8,000**

The relocation package is for anyone who would need to relocate in order to take up employment with Cheshire and Wirral Partnership.

To be eligible for the relocation payment, you must live more than 40 miles from the base/location of the post you are applying for and you would need to relocate to within 15 miles of the new base.

Manage and lead highly specialised physiotherapy intervention to a designated caseload with complex needs, providing clinical leadership and education to help others grow expertise in a specialist clinical area in line with available best practice and developing knowledge base.

Provide a high quality, effective and advanced physiotherapy service to in patients, outpatients and outreach clients within physiotherapy and in other clinics and consultant streams within the trust (as required).

Deliver a highly specialist physiotherapy assessment of patients with highly complex clinical presentation and pathology to determine a clinical diagnosis and provide treatment via therapeutic interventions and develop effective treatment plans.

Design deliver and evaluate teaching and training material to peers, students, and other healthcare professionals ensuring learning of up to date evidence based skills and knowledge is shared and implemented

Works with professional lead for physiotherapy, reports to team leaders and is accountable to therapy pathway managers and ultimately the Therapy Services Manager.

All new clinical support staff will be required to have completed or working towards the Care Certificate (CWP In-house 2 day training to be completed within 6 months of start date).

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. A small annual fee of £13 per year applies.

New entrants to the NHS will commence on the minimum of the scale stated above.
