Salary
: £22,369 - £22,777
Working Pattern: Full time, 37 hours per week
Location: Worthing area
Interview Date: wc 20th March 2023

You will be a key member of the team supporting the organisation and delivery of the Fire and Rescue Service’s training & development plans for approx. 650 WSFRS staff.

You will provide administrative support to the development, culture and training teams to ensure delivery of a range of learning and training activities events across the County as well as on-line learning.

You will be required to maintain accurate records and provide a communication link between the training delivery teams, internal and external training providers, students and their line managers.


Experience and Skills


Key Skills:

  • Extremely organised, able to manage changing priorities and multi-task, with a high attention to detail.
  • Effective interpersonal and internal customer service skills, with ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to communicate clearly and concisely with others.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office to produce data and information in a clear and meaningful way, including Outlook, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to manage financial and employee information with confidentiality, discretion and sensitivity.

Qualifications and/or experience:

  • Relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification or equivalent level of experience.
  • Experience of using Firewatch - Desirable
  • Demonstrable experience of working within an administrative role, preferably within a learning & development or HR environment.
  • Sound administrative experience with demonstrable evidence of effectively prioritising work and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrable evidence of providing a customer focused service, meeting client needs.
