Bradford Library Service is looking to recruit a Children and Young People’s Libraries Development Officer who will be actively involved in planning, managing and developing a service that reflects the needs of children and young people in the local community. We are looking for someone who is passionate about making sure children and young people have access to a wide range of materials and services that encourage children to read for pleasure, improve literacy and communication as well as provide access to exciting cultural, creative and learning opportunities in our libraries and wider community.
Bradford will be City of Culture in 2025 so this is an exciting time to join our development team.
