Job description
We're looking for Developing Designers to join our amazing in house creative agency and learn to develop and deliver content, ensuring that it achieves the highest creative and editorial standards with adherence to BBC guidelines. This is a great opportunity if you are looking for your first step into a design environment where you will be provided with all the support to progress your career.
Our team works in both Graphic and Motion design, so applicants from either specialism will be considered
These roles will learn through undertaking a range of live projects. They will work to formal/informal briefs across platforms and languages, supported and mentored by a Creative Head and/or Senior Designer.
The jobholders will aim to hone their skills in order to be able to progress to Junior Designer positions in due course.
Main ResponsibilitiesWith support and under guidance:
- To produce distinctive content on a variety of platforms.
To develop an understanding of the need to:
- Stay abreast of emerging industry trends;
- Be accountable for the quality of your work and ensure it meets intended purposes;
- Be accountable for the usability and accessibility of design deliveries for the broadest possible cross-section of users.
Essential
- A passion for and a great understanding of Design
- An experienced Adobe Creative Suite User
- Attention to detail and awareness of editorial and compliance principles.
- Portfolio evidence of good design work, demonstrating creative flair and potential.
- Relevant degree, or portfolio evidence of equivalent level of development
