Despatch / Warehouse Operator
Rawdon, West Yorkshire
Full Time – 39 hours per week – Monday to Friday
£22,626 per annum
Our client based in Rawdon, West Yorkshire is looking to recruit a Despatch / Warehouse Operator for an immediate start. This is a Full Time PERMANENT position.
Duties will include:
- Work in busy spares packing department situated in the warehouse area, despatching approximately 30 orders per day
- Identify and pick parts from the stores warehouse and retrieving parts from other locations throughout the site
- Packing parts suitable for UK and Export shipments
- Using various specialised packing, strapping and weight machines
- Booking parts in and out
- Booking consignments and creating labels
- Loading vehicles
- Liaising with despatch courier drivers
Key Skills and Behaviours required:
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Good attention to detail
- Computer, Numeracy and Literacy
- A team player who can use their own initiative
- Capable of working unsupervised
- FLT Counterbalance is desirable but NOT essential
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 7am – 3.30pm Monday to Thursday & 7am – 2.30pm Fri = 39 hours per week.
