Job description
Our company is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer. Successful candidates will be able to perform routine administrative tasks and will be expected to have strong technical knowledge to resolve software and hardware issues.
The engineer will be expected to configure and deploy new desktops, Imaging of Windows 10 PC’s. Laptop, Desktops and Tablets (images will be supplied on a USB stick) and provide support for the end-user and solution of the problem on PC’s.
We provide an exceptional level of service to all customers, so it's important that our new hires are dependable, energetic and in good physical condition. Extensive on-site training with client specific elements to be provided before the engineer will be expected to carry out the deployments with minimal supervision.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Strong IT skills with relevant qualification
- Experience working with HP/Dell/IBM Laptops and Desktops
- Proven record of working with Windows at support level
- Familiar with installing add-ons (NIC's Video cards)
- Microsoft Office knowledge with Office 365 skills
- Previous role of supporting end-users
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
Salary: £160.00 per day
