Desk Sales Professional (Mid-Market)
- Driving full integration of channels and products to best serve our business, government, and wholesale customers in the UK and internationally.
- Investing strategically in present and future needs of customers, aligned behind common digital, network and security platforms.
- Accelerating our transformation plans and delivery of next generation products and services, making it easier for customers to do business with BT and for BT to transact more profitably with customers; and
- Continuing to invest in the skills, technology and partnerships required to return to growth and become the leading provider of secure multi-cloud connectivity.
- Responsible for delivering against revenue targets either individually, or as part of virtual sales team within a customer base of either private or public sector customers.
- Responsibility for outbound sales prospecting and opportunities, regular and consistent calling of customers and promotion of BT products and services.
- Work closely with field sales and specialist teams to deliver opportunities for core BT product lines
- Accurately forecast business KPI’s to management teams
- Proactively manage churn risk for core BT products
- Identify opportunities to sell to new customers
- Recognise and deliver against opportunities for business growth via a multi-channel approach.
- Responsible for closing own contracts, as well as engaging with others/specialists to deliver customer requirements as necessary e.g. Field Account Management team, Contract Management team for managed accounts.
- Acts as the desk-based point of contact for the customer/partner, developing long-term customer relationships.
- Recognises and delivers against opportunities for business growth via and multi-channel approach
- Responsible for delivering against own revenue targets as well as engaging with others/specialists to deliver customer requirements as necessary.
- Managing a range of clients of size typically 100-350 seats, up to £1m addressable spend.
- Excellent earning potential, with 50% commission
