Desk Based Acquisition Sales
You will be responsible for identifying opportunities and closing sales that secure new business across our Mid-Market customer base. Through building strong relationships and successfully influencing and negotiating with key contacts and decision-makers, you will achieve (and exceed) targets for your prospects.
- Execute sales plans and programs as a member of a desk-based sales specialist team, converting both new opportunities with new and returning customers.
- You will work closely with SME prospects whose needs may be starting to grow in complexity, and who may potentially have multi-site needs, or needs across more than one product tower.
- Accountable for winning new business within a defined account base of Mid-Market prospects to deliver sustainable, profitable new business. Interactions will be remote in a desk based, inside sales environment.
- Accountable for developing successful, sustainable and profitable relationships with prospects.
- Give specialised advice - You offer advice and recommendations based on your expertise both proactively and on request.
- Sealing the deal - You identify and close key sales opportunities.
- Sales forecasting - You use customer insights and sales trends to conduct appropriate analyses that provide accurate sales forecasts so that opportunities progress smoothly through the sales process.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Successful track record delivering brilliant sales outcomes for an account base
- Acquisition and/or new business experience essential through self-dial cold calling.
- Used knowledge of the business to sell, negotiate or persuade
- Worked alongside colleagues/led team through a period of intense stress and pressure
- Developed an internal network of strong working relationships you can call on to assist with your role
- Advocating and applying technology where it has not been used previously
