Mission
The Lesson Designer will work with our Creative and Technical Operations Team to construct engaging lessons with a business aviation focus. Lessons are developed using expert content and considerate of instructional design principles.
Key Focuses:
- Develop lessons from expert content on our proprietary LMS using the dominKnow authoring platform.
- Timely revision of content to ensure we always deliver the most current information.
- Contribute to image/video design that enhances lessons beyond only written content – focus on script development for video content.
- Develop scenario-based questions based on technical content, and in collaboration with SMEs and Technical Advisors.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Creative and Technical Operations work processes – by authoring standards, sharing best practices and creative feedback.

Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working assertively and respectfully in a Team environment.
- Solid understanding of Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint).
- Experience using other software applications to author, design and publish content.
- Background in training and/or aviation is considered an asset.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills and at least 2 years in a position that requires these skills.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Writing, Design, Instruction, or another comparable qualification that is conducive to the job description and principle focuses is an asset.
Compensation
- Salary range is $62-77K annually commensurate with experience, qualifications, and skills.
Occasional travel within Canada may be required (at Company expense).

Salary: $62,000.00-$77,000.00 per year
