We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative designer to join the Children’s Design Team working with our US partner, Kidsbooks Publishing. The role is a full-time permanent position and is based at our lovely new office in central Bath.

Key Skills:
- Minimum of two years commercial design experience, preferably in book publishing.
- Fantastic typographical and book design skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Excellent time management skills, able to work to tight deadlines.
- Positive, enthusiastic, and team-focused attitude.
Key responsibilities:
- Keep up-to-date with trends and suggest ideas for new US centric products.
- Handle multiple projects from concept to final advances.
- Design a large range of products for children from books to puzzles and games.
- Create new products using existing artwork.
- Produce product visuals.
- Work closely with illustrators and illustration agencies to commission new artwork.
- Create production specifications for new formats, including books, box sets and puzzles.
- Set-up files ready for print to a high standard.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
