Job description
We are looking for a surface designer for the engineering team, you will be reporting to the Team Leader of Vehicle Engineering, and have a major impact on the design, development and validation of various surface systems of a recreational vehicle.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Perform comprehensive modelling of aesthetic parts with complex surfaces and technical drawings (GD&T) during the development of the vehicle from the prototype phase to the production launch.
Support the workshop in the assembly, testing and validation of prototype vehicles.
Actively participate in the configuration of vehicle hardware.
Collaborate with designers and engineers in the design and development of new parts, systems and vehicles.
Collaborate with various suppliers and the design, production, purchasing, quality assurance and manufacturing engineering teams.
THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
A technical college diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical or plastics engineering, or relevant design experience.
Good understanding of mechanics and good 3D visualization.
Experience in 3D modelling and surface design.
Ability to use software such as Catia V5 or Solidworks.
Ability to communicate well in English and French (written and spoken).
Desire to take on challenges as part of a team.
Strong interest in finding creative solutions to problems that arise and you are recognized for your creativity.
