  • Permanent; 32.5 Hours Per Week
  • Term Time + 5 Staff Development Days

The Whitstable School has an opportunity to appoint a Design Technology & Visual/Performing Arts Technician.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Design Technology & Visual/Performing Arts Departments. Working alongside subject teachers you will help ensure that a safe, effective and efficient technician service is delivered, including; the provision of technical advice and assistance in the classroom to support pupils and assisting teaching staff with learning activities.

The Design Technology & Visual/Performing Arts departments are committed to delivering practical and engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a keen interest and passion for design technology & visual/performing arts
  • Have a willingness to undertake CPD to continue to develop knowledge & skills
  • Be able to relate well to children and adults
  • Have the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
  • The successful applicant will report to the Head of Design Technology & Creative Arts and will work alongside both the Design Technology & Visual/Performing Art departments.
