Job summary:
As the Studio Manager at South Pole you will be responsible for scaling the company’s Growth Marketing content output, managing a team of creative professionals across design and copywriting both in-house and externally. You will own South Pole’s Growth Marketing content strategy and processes, and be the guardian of the South Pole identity, both in visuals and in writing, helping to deliver consistency across all external marketing. This is a demanding role for a seasoned marketing professional with hands-on experience of building the content function within a business, and who understands the complex requirements of a global company which is active in multiple regional markets.
Main tasks & responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Growth Director to develop and implement a content marketing strategy to support Growth team objectives
- Work closely with Campaigns, Communications and the Solutions Marketing teams to deliver high impact assets that support South Pole becoming the global leading Climate Company
- Manage the South Pole Editorial Committee to develop, implement and optimise processes across content creation, prioritisation, localisation and quality control.
- Develop best practice guidelines to improve quality of content produced across
- Growth, Solutions, Communications and Regional marketing teams
- Develop and implement a reporting function for content
- Align with key stakeholders on the development of the Brand, visual identity and tone of voice
Requirements:
Essential
- Several years experience in Marketing, working in a similar role
- Relevant experience in content production including copywriting
- Creative flair and know-how of design programs & tools (Adobe Creative Cloud such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, InDesign, etc.)
- Good communicator with collaboration skills and an ability to work in an interdisciplinary, global team
- Prioritisation and time management skills
- Ability to supervise, coach, motivate, and develop employees
- Excellent oral and written skills in English
Desirable
- Experience of working on service based solutions and in a B2B sector
- Demonstrable knowledge of environmental and sustainability topics
- Ability to think laterally to take a new approach to doing things and achieve culture change would be a benefit
- University degree in Marketing, Communications, business or similar
- Passion for environmental issues and understanding of sustainability, CSR and related topics
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced international environment
- Fluency in other European language(s), such as Spanish, French, German and Swedish
