Job description
Creative Sample Studio is sample and small production run studio working closely with high end fashion brands.
We are at CSS, are looking to hire dynamic Fashion Design Intern who will work as part of design team and will help contribute to design projects of several fashion brands.
How you will contribute:
Support in design research, mood boards, technical drawings, variations design.
Off-site errands in London.
Occasional support seamstresses, pattern cutters in our atelier/production studio.
Supporting design department, managing sample development, finishings development.
Duties and Responsibilities.
Contacting suppliers.
Good working knowledge in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
Support in design research, mood boards.
Off-site errands in London.
Occasional support seamstresses, pattern cutters in our atelier/production studio.
Assisting design team with fittings.
Fabric and trim sourcing.
Sewing Samples.
Tech Packs preparation.
Hand Sewing.
Textile Development assisting.
Print Development assisting.
Requirements:
Come from relevant fashion course (womenswear/ menswear design/design development/ fashion textile).
Available to work at CSS 3 days per week from 10AM to 6PM.
Garment construction knowledge.
Textile knowledge and interest.
Comfortable with studio activities.
