Job Description:
BeZero's design team is seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Marketing Design Intern. The successful candidate will work on projects focused on advancing BeZero's presence in the marketplace, with an emphasis on data visualisation and information design.
The successful candidate will attain strong skills and knowledge regarding graphic design, marketing, social media and event collateral. As a Marketing Design Intern, you will collaborate with our marketing team in all stages of marketing campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels.
This internship will help you acquire design/marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment. A mentor will be provided to assist you.
This internship will have hybrid work flexibility, but will be based in London at our Old Street offices three days per week.
The role itself will involve:
- Utilising expertise of Adobe Creative Suite to design all marketing material (email, social media, etc)
- An interest in web design (expertise not required!)
- Work closely with key stakeholders to help lead roll-out of marketing material in line with various marketing strategies
- Build and execute regular reports and data visualisation artefacts for both internal and external stakeholders (again, a willingness to learn with keen interest in data visualisation over experience is acceptable)
- Develop innovative ideas for content, brand initiatives and campaigns to push the brand ahead of the competition as well as continuously optimising campaigns with marketing team
You will be our ideal candidate if:
- You have at least 2 years of university and / or are near graduate date or have recently graduated
- You have the right to work in the UK (essential)
- You have experience in graphic design
- You can navigate a variety of social media tools
- You have an interest in infographics and data visualisation
- You like working with data and creating reports
- You have great communication and relationship building skills or an interest in developing these skills further
- You're motivated to grow yourself and help enable the growth of BeZero Carbon
- Participate in and help to prepare for company events
- Confident and organised to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
Mandatory/beneficial skills:
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Some knowledge of Figma
- Some knowledge of Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Experience with Canva
- Knowledge of presentation and layout design
- Able to source imagery and/or create artwork for the company and any partnerships with clients
- Experience using Google Docs is an advantage but not necessary
