We are seeking a Graduate Design Engineer to work for a leading telecommunications organisation. The Graduate Design Engineer will report directly to the Design Engineering Specialist with a focus on CAD and maintaining a drawing library and standards, with exciting opportunities to contribute to future initiatives such as digital twin, which will drive efficiencies and could be transformational for how the business will operate.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide support to the Engineering department by creating and maintaining a drawing library, including items such as blocks, in an effort to help our Suppliers deliver a consistently outstanding product.
• Support with provision of calculations and design.
• Have the drive to build a thorough understanding of the mobile infrastructure industry, with the opportunity to learn and develop under the guidance of the Engineering team and industry experts within their field.
• Support and assist with assessing design concessions.
• Develop and grow strong relationships with design suppliers and customers.
• Contribute to the organisation's digital transformation initiatives related to design delivery.

Experience required:

• Knowledge of CAD systems with transferable skill across other platforms.
• HND or higher graduate with a qualification in any one of the following: M&E Engineering, Electronic, Mechatronics, Civil, Telecommunications, Product development or similar
• Good IT skills, in particular the use of all Microsoft office applications.
