Junior Design Engineer - salary up to 29k - Excellent career progression and training

Must be in commutable distance to Liverpool.

Torque Consulting is currently seeking a Junior Design Engineer for a global engineering based in the Liverpool who are expanding rapidly. They design develop and manufacture on site and have recently move into a new state of the art facility. The role is available to due company expansion and you will be working with some of the worlds largest engineering companies completing bespoke projects from cradle to grave

Job details:

This role will be overseeing projects from cradle to grave completing design work using Solidworks, including BOM’s, detailing and preparation of specifications. Understanding the manufacturing process and the customer requirement for each high-level bespoke design. Participate in design meetings and reviews as well as cost analysis for projects.

The ideal Candidate:

• Experience with Solidworks (Other 3D packages may be consider)
• FEA experience (Beneficial)
• Ability to complete engineering calculation
• Understanding industry regulations. -BS8888
• A relevant engineer qualification or degree is essential.
