Our client is a specialist systems integrator supplying control and safety solutions for complex and critical applications in a variety of industry sectors.
What is the role?
The role of Graduate Design Engineer is to support with the development of control systems designs including hardware and software solutions using PLC and SCADA systems and embedded systems as appropriate. This is a full time, permanent position over 37.5 hours per week, based in Norfolk.
What will my day-to-day duties look like?
- Supporting with the development of control systems designs including hardware and software solutions using PLC and SCADA systems and embedded systems as appropriate that will include:
- Support with detailed hardware and software designs
- Liaison with vendors and suppliers
- Support with preparation of agreed project documentation
- Attendance at clients’ sites for testing
- Gain commercial awareness and project cost control or project engineering
- Assist with test and validation of hardware and software systems.
