As our Senior Design Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in our product development strategy, actively participating in diverse projects across various categories.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Crafting innovative and aesthetic designs that meet both business objectives and customer requirements.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Collaborating with our teams to enhance our existing product line and deliver improvements.
- Utilizing your extensive design expertise to provide technical support to the business and suppliers.
- Validating designs through FEA, calculations, testing, and tolerance stacks.
- Designing for efficient manufacturing to reduce development time with suppliers.
- Leading design reviews using engineering tools such as FMEA, GD&T, and ISIR reviews.
We're seeking an individual with substantial experience in a similar senior design role, someone who craves the satisfaction of seeing their designs come to life quickly. You should possess a resolute design approach and excel in a multi-project environment. Joining our small team will mean there is room for innovation as we continuously introduce new products to the market.
In your portfolio, we’re looking for a demonstration of your proficiency in design and manufacturing techniques, design for manufacture, VAVE, as well as both 2D and 3D skills. Experience with cast products, plastic moulding, assembled parts and brass parts is essential. Proficiency in 3D software, particularly Creo, would be advantageous.
