Design to Print Senior Manager - Europe flexible location – 12 month fixed term contract

We are seeking a highly motivated Design to Print Senior Manager for a short time assignment. The candidate will be responsible for managing, as a Senior Project Manager, Marketing Projects. You will lead and manage the execution of marketing projects within our organization on a short-term, 1-year assignment basis. You will be responsible for ensuring that project goals are met. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing managers, designers, Premedia agencies, and other stakeholders to define project scope, develop project plans, and manage project execution with respect to print feasibility and template creation. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate with these various teams.
What You’ll Do for Us:
Lead and manage several marketing projects. Some from initiation to closure, others pick-up halfway and others to start without closure within this 1-year timeframe
Develop and maintain project plans and schedules.
Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation plans.
Develop and maintain project documentation including project charters, status reports, and other project-related artifacts.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met.
Manage project scope and schedule.
Work on multiple projects at the same time.
Communicate project status and issues to project stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement of project management processes and tools.
Ensure that all design files are prepared and ready for creating templates.
Ensure that all templates are built to cover the full market execution plans, and that all necessary approvals are obtained before sending to the markets.
Coordinate with premedia agencies and oversee the template creation process to ensure that all materials are produced to high quality standards and delivered on time.
Monitor project timelines and communicate progress updates to stakeholders.
Ensure that all templates meet branding and design standards.
Work with designers to provide feedback and recommendations on design files to optimize for print.
Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the print proofing process.
Support on issues & exceptions; resolve wherever possible, ensure excellent communication and escalate as required.
Identify and deliver specific areas where the process flow and tools can be iteratively improved.
Support the effective operation of a pan-EU System artwork approach to ensure the smooth running of the new operating unit.
Maintain trademark stewardship and design integrity and consistency with the set guidelines with the help of the pre-media agencies.
Be the role model in implementing the new ways of working within and beyond the operating unit.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Significant experience in Marketing, Design or relevant areas
Strong Project Management Skills
Preferred knowledge of printing processes
Ability to work in agile cross-functional teams and effectively collaborate with key stakeholders
Experience working in cross-functional and cross-geographical teams is preferred
Business / commercial / financial acumen
Great written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in English
This role communicates with external and internal teams to deliver best possible graphic templates on time. This includes sharing needs, seeking information, and negotiating collaboration.
Ability to lead complex projects and influence critical internal and external stakeholders
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
