Deputy Sales Manager

Up to £29,000 depending on experience

Are you a Deputy Sales Manager looking for that next challenge working for a unique fast paced industry? Do you have experience driving sales and new business within a hospitality environment? Our business is on the lookout for a Deputy Sales Manager to join us onsite in Leeds

Key responsibilities will include:

• Driving the conference and events sales strategy
• Ownership of sales and marketing plan for the venue
• Marketing and promotional activities for the venue, ensuring all websites and online directories are consistently updated and to brand standards
• Management and delivery of local corporate account plans (working with BDM)
• Proactive sales activities for the venue
• Reactive sales activities for the venue including internal client bookings
• Accurate sales reports/forecasts and achievement of venue performance standards
• Management of the onsite C&E Event Planner
• Communication with central sales team and BDM

Our ideal Deputy Sales Manager will be a self-motivated individual with a proven history of driving sales and new business.

• Previous experience in a sales role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A passion for hospitality, sales and customer service
• An ability to inspire customer trust and confidence
• Experience selling events or services in hospitality or unique venues
