The Role
To maintain high customer satisfaction levels through excellence in dispatching, identifying, receiving, and ensuring quality of products. Measure and address the effectiveness of employee performance and warehousing activities and employee’s performance, organizing and maintaining inventory and storage area. Monitor and continually improve the Depot KPI’s as set out by the National Warehouse Manager.
· Control and organise storage and inventory of customer products including live orders.
· Management of the onsite team of supervisors and warehouse operatives.
· Management of own driving crews, working alongside Fleet Department on own vehicle maintenance.
· Ensure the accuracy of inventory and shipments, inbound and outbound.
· Communicate position expectations and train employees of Standard Operating Procedures.
· To work with the QC Manager with all aspects of H&S.
· Define staffing needs and allocate workload.
· Interact with stakeholders to resolve problems or answer questions.
· Maintain records, utilize specialized reports (WMS).
· Implement new methods, processes, and improvements in line with the depots vision.
· Identify operational needs in line with development of workforce and daily workload.
· Consult and organise activities with other teams and departments.
· You will motivate employees to get the best from the team.
· Manage all HR Issues including discipline, absence, capability and performance management.
· Maintain weekly reports/ hold weekly meetings with Commercial Department reference Budget/ Resource control
· Hit KPI targets, including Pieces per Hour & Failure %.
Additional information:
· Limited travel between other Rhenus Home Delivery sites will be required.
· Base working hours for this role will be 9 am to 5.30pm, however flexibility is a must

Salary: Up to £45,000.00 per year
